Position Overview
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Ocala, FL. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience and an active RCIS certification.
Assignment Overview
Shift: Days, 3×12 hrs
Hours: 36 hrs per week
Start Date: May 11, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Openings: 1
Schedule: Four 10‑hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with rotating weekday call and possible STEMI coverage float
Details
Location: Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 labs
Patient ratio: 3:1
Procedures: right and left heart catheterization (diagnostic and interventional), peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
Equipment: GE lab, Impella, balloon pump, Penumbra, IVUS
Documentation system: Merge Hemo
Requirements
Active FL or Compact RN license required
Certifications: RCIS, ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within 30 days of assignment start)
Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience
EP experience is a plus
US SSN and DOB required for consideration
Two professional references required for Florida placements
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
Scrubs: facility‑provided or OR scrubs
EP experience is considered an advanced skill and preferred
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
Compensation
Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hrs per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
