Position Description
nWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team in Augusta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in catheterization lab procedures and possess the necessary certifications to provide excellent patient care.
General Information
n Unit Specifics:
Number of Labs: 2
Number of Patient Bays: 5
Staffing Description: The unit is currently staffed with 2 Full-Time RNs and 5 Full-Time RCIS Technologists.
Type of Equipment: GE/MacLab
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: Monday – Friday, with flexibility for after-hours availability.
n Qualifications
n Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Requested Skill Set: Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) Experience
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Cath Lab / IR setting is required.
n Key Responsibilities
n Provide pre, intra, and post-procedural care for cardiac patients.
Assist in various catheterization procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
n Additional Information
n Generally handling around 3 STEMI cases per month.
The on-call requirement is minimal, providing a balanced work-life environment.
Uniform: Royal Blue Scrubs are required.
