Job Summary
nCardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Specialist in the Specialty of Cardiac Catheterization at an unspecified location. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a comprehensive invasive cardiology department. The position requires clinical expertise in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular procedures within a highly skilled team environment.

nnPosition Description:
nSchedule requirements include four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a variable day off during the week. The role necessitates participation in on-call duties as needed by the unit.
nRequired Qualifications:
nCertifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); demonstrated experience in catheterization procedures, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations for adults, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, infection prevention, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, interventional cardiac catheterizations, isolation precautions/PPE, left and right heart catheterization, procedural sedation, pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring, and complex percutaneous coronary interventions; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a cardiac cath lab setting; current ACLS and BLS certifications.
nAdditional Information:
nThe department performs a range of procedures including diagnostics, peripheral vascular interventions, and complex PCIs (excluding CTOs). Equipment used includes IABP, Impella, ECMO, rotablator/CSI, and shockwave technology. Candidates may care for COVID-19 patients and must adhere to tobacco- and fragrance-free facility policies.
nSubmission Requirements:
nCandidates should have EPIC charting system experience; a valid license in the relevant state; and are encouraged to have previous charge experience and patient ratio experience.
