Job Summary
nThe organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) professional for a position in the healthcare provider setting. This role involves managing patients through various cardiac interventions, including catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, and neuro interventions, with a focus on admitting, preparing, and recovering procedural cases.
nJob Details
nnCertifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Illinois license or initiation of application process, BLS, ACLS certifications, minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
nSchedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
nResponsibilities include managing cases such as STEMI, stroke, drain placement, line placement, heart catheterizations, peripheral angiograms, IVC placements, temporary pacemaker insertions, TEEs, cardioversions, and electrophysiology studies.
nMust be able to read tele strips, titrate drips, and administer IV medications. Experience with peripheral angiograms, interventional radiology, neuro interventions, and use of EMR - Epic, with Philips monitoring equipment preferred.
nMust handle patient admission, prep, and recovery, perform work with a charge nurse on each shift, and work in a fast-paced, acute care setting.
nScrubs are provided, and unit-specific orientation lasts approximately one week, covering four shifts.
nShifts are scheduled for 10 hours, with potential for staying late depending on case load.
