RadHealth+ is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Duration: 13 weeks
36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel
CARDIAC TELEMTRY RN
RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
BLS & ACLS required
NIHSS preferred
2 years of cardiac experience required
MS/Tele/Step down experience preferred
First time travelers accepted (as long as they have 2 years of cardiac experience)
JOB DETAILS:
Shift: 3x-0715 (36 hrs only)
Will accept longer contracts 13-26 weeks
Float required as needed
Weekend coverage required - 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks
Call not required
Ratio: 1:6
Will not accept more than 7 days of RTO
Must be willing to work holidays
Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed
PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
Atrial Fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, Aortic stenosis/regurgitation, Mitral Regurgitation/Stenosis, Endocarditis, Cardiomyopathy, PVD PAD, Vasculitis, Carotid stenosis, Venous stasis, sheath management, sheath removal.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:
CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, Mitral Clip, LAAO (Watchman procedure), VATS, Carotid endarterectomy, FEM-POP bypass, Amputations, Other vascular surgeries, Cardiac surgeries, Thoracic surgeries, General thoracic surgery, Post cath, Post DCCV, Post electrophysiology procedures, Pacemaker placements.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:
Arterial lines (not required), Doppler, Bladder scanner, EKG, Femoral sheaths, TR band, Fem-stop, Chest tubes, Epicardial Pacing Wires.
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication):
Pyxis, EPIC, & SBAR
UNIT ORIENTATION:
24 hours
