HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Overland Park, Kansas.

Patient Ratios: 5:1
Unit staffing description (unit secretaries and tech availability): Patient Care Tech; Central Tele Monitoring, Charge nurse
Type of equipment: iPhone/iMobile, Welch Allyn VS Machine, Hoyers, vein finders, kangaroo pump, Pxysis, Mobilab, Virtual Admit RN
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: 12 hrs; weekend rotate
On Call Requirements: none
Floating policy: 1st to float
Patient Experience requirements: bedside shift report, SAFETY rounding, AIDET, No pass zone
Requested Skill Set
Competency level = medical telemetry experience; 2 years nursing experience minimal
Must Have
Active Nurse License, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, Understanding of basic dysrhythmias/telemetry
Advanced Skills Needed
Understanding of basic dysrhythmias/telemetry
Procedures performed on unit
Vital signs: every 4-8 hours (depending on level of care)
Continuous cardiac monitoring (remote)
Certifications Required
BLS
ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale
