Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Sonographer with 2+ years of experience performing outpatient cardiac ultrasound and Epic charting experience.
Details
Outpatient setting performing cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography)
Monday through Friday day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
40 hours per week
No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years current Cardiovascular Sonographer/Echocardiographer experience required
BLS certification required
RDCS certification through ARDMS, or RCS, ACS, or RCCS certification through CCI required
License required if applicable
Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related field, or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program required
Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
Deliver pre- and post-procedure patient care including patient assessment and emergency cardiac care
Perform CPR as needed and may assist with post-procedure patient transport
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, performing daily quality assurance checks
Generate ultrasound images of the heart and vascular structures
May provide staff training and education
Monitor and record patient information, manage report storage and data systems, and prepare charge entry data
Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use, ensuring efficient turnover between procedures
