Shift: Days | 5×8s | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Case Management
EMR: Epic required
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Weekend: 4 weekends per 13-week contract, as needed
Dress Code: Business casual — no scrubs
Required Case Management Experience: Care coordination, discharge planning, medical necessity review, prior authorizations, appeals/denials, pre-certification, DME needs, and utilization review.
Patient Diagnosis Info
Acute Care units consist of:
4- Intensive care unit- general medical/ surgical patients
5- Acute Care neuro/ Stroke
6- Acute Care Cardiology
7- Acute Care Oncology/ Stoke
8- Acute Care Post op/ Orthopedic
Special Procedures/Unit Details
ICU- Ventilator management, invasive lines renal replacement therapy
Acute Care: cath lab, mri/ pet scan, endoscopy, in house dialysis
Work Settings Required: Acute Hospital, Long Term Acute Care/Rehab/Skilled Nursing
