Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Mission Hills, California
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), weekend rotation required to meet department needs. Patient ratio 1:20. No floating required.
Highlights:
Six-month travel assignment at an acute care facility with 40 hours of orientation
Work with interdisciplinary support including social services and transportation teams
Utilize Epic charting system for computerized documentation
Serve diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Scrubs or business attire accepted
Up to 7 days of requested time off may be considered
Requirements:
Active California RN license (pending licenses accepted but must be active by start date)
Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital case management experience performing care coordination and discharge planning
Proficiency with Epic charting system required
Experience with InterQual admission criteria, DRG, CMS guidelines, and plan of care development
Demonstrated competency arranging DME, SNF placement, and ambulance transport independently
Knowledge of HMOs, IPAs, and experience with complex patient populations including mental health, substance abuse, homelessness, advance directives, and protective services
Proficient in Microsoft applications and computerized documentation
Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
First-time travelers accepted with clinical screening
