Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital setting, requiring 2 years of hospital case management experience and a CA RN license.
Details
Acute care hospital setting within the Case Management department
Patient ratio of 1:20
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM-4:30 PM)
Weekend rotation required to meet department needs
No floating expectation
Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
Active CA RN license required, pending license accepted if licensed by start date
2 years of acute care hospital Case Manager experience performing care coordination and discharge planning required
Hospital experience is required
Prior travel nursing experience required, though first-time travelers will be screened for consideration
Epic charting system experience required
Experience utilizing InterQual Criteria preferred
Knowledge of CMS and DRG regulatory guidelines preferred
2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
Additional Information
Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, and developing plans of care
Scrub or business attire acceptable for dress code
First-time travelers will be considered, subject to clinical screening
RTO limited to no more than 7 days
Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3 month waiting period
Candidates who previously worked at a Providence facility must disclose location and dates worked
Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
