Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an inpatient care coordination role requiring EPIC experience and a CA RN license.
Details
Inpatient Care Coordinator role within the Case Management unit of an acute hospital setting
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Performs discharge planning assessments and utilization review, including InterQual screening and transfer clinical appropriateness reviews
Requirements
Active CA RN license (permanent, current Nursys record required at time of consideration)
Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
Recent and required EPIC charting system experience
Experienced Case Manager with strong discharge planning and utilization review skills
Psych-social assessment skills required
Acute hospital setting experience required
BSN preferred
Valid driver's license with proof of current, permanent address
Two professional references required at supervisor level or above (Charge Nurses not accepted)
Proof of vaccinations required for consideration
Additional Information
Coordinates inpatient discharge planning and utilization review activities
Screens transfers for clinical appropriateness using InterQual criteria
Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at the local rate
Maximum of 7 days RTO required at time of consideration; no RTO accepted after submission
