Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of cath lab experience and current fluoroscopy certification for a cardiac catheterization unit.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year cath lab experience required
ARRT certification required
Fluoroscopy certification required
NJ ARRT license preferred, license required if applicable
Must know how to operate C-Arm machine and perform routine lead maintenance
Skills should encompass RCIS competencies
DOB and SSN required for consideration
Responsibilities
Cardiac Catheterization unit setting
Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call coverage required 4 days a week, at least 9 shifts a month, with a 30-minute response time to pages
Weekend call coverage spans 24 hours on both Saturday and Sunday
Assists with cath procedures, PCIs, and various IR procedures including Impella and balloon pump insertion, nephrostomy tube insertion, PICC insertion, permacath insertion, pacemaker insertion, and cerebral thrombectomy
Responsibilities include scrubbing in for interventional radiology procedures and assisting with cath lab and PCI cases
Completion of Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required, which can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or a free CDC resource
