Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a day-shift position requiring active CA RN license, ACLS, and prior cath lab/procedural RN experience.
Details
Cath Lab unit setting
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM-5:45 PM
Scheduled days run Sunday through Saturday
On-call required once or twice per week, plus one weekend every 5 weeks
Uses EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner EMR
Requirements
Active CA RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required, no pending certifications accepted
Cath Lab RN or procedural RN experience required
Minimum 1.5 years continuous experience in specialty required
Minimum 1 year total travel nursing experience required
6+ months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding consideration
EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner EMR experience within the last 6 months required
1 supervisory-level professional reference required
Additional Information
No first-time travelers considered for this position
Returning permanent staff or travelers eligible after 1 year
Maximum 7 days RTO permitted, with no additional requests after submission
Candidates residing within 100 miles are not eligible unless LVN/LPN
Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months are considered local and are not eligible
