Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for a day-shift position requiring 2+ years of Cath Lab, IR, or Hybrid OR experience.
Details
Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab department within an Interventional Radiology setting
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Weekend shifts required
Uses Epic charting system
May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit policy
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience in Cath Lab, IR, or Hybrid OR
Current ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
Epic charting experience required for consideration
License required if applicable
Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted
Must provide two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months (charge RN references not accepted)
Must provide seven years of verifiable work history including city, state, dates of employment, and PTO
Additional Information
Responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias, and serving as room circulator
Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) and fluoroscopy equipment
Works with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of experience
Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate
No radius restriction for local candidates
RTO must be submitted upfront and limited to no more than 2 weeks
Former OHSU employees or travelers must have a 6+ month gap before returning
Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
