Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a day shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of cath lab experience and BLS with ARRT or CCI certification.
Details
Community hospital cath lab setting
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
13-week assignment
Travelers may float to like units within their scope based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided
Procedures may include cardiac catheterization, PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement, EP studies, cardiac ablation, AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, LAA closure, TAVR, and Watchman procedures
Additional procedural exposure may include vascular studies, angioplasty, carotid stenting, dialysis graft interventions, TIPS, and upper/lower extremity angiography
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience required
Community hospital experience required
BLS certification required
ARRT or CCI (RCIS) certification required
Kansas license required if certified through ARRT (license required if applicable)
Valid state RN license required at time of submission
Epic charting experience preferred
Skills in venous access, central venous access, and sterile field maintenance preferred
Experience with EKG lead placement preferred
First-time travelers will be considered for this role
Additional Information
Perform cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology procedures as part of daily responsibilities
Assist with procedural monitoring, scrubbing, and maintaining sterile fields during cases
No travel pairs or groups accepted
Former perm staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
Locals within a 50-mile radius are not accepted for this position
