Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Shift Information
This position is scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with one to two weeknight calls and every fourth weekend on call. Holiday coverage is also required.
Job Duties
Verify package integrity and expiration dates on all sterile supplies.
Prepare patients and equipment for utilization of sterile technique.
After procedures, prepare equipment and supplies for sterilization.
Monitor and record all procedural data and maintain procedural event logs.
Ensure patient comfort while familiarizing them with the equipment and supplies needed for the procedure.
Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites, including the necessary sterile drapes.
Utilize sterile and aseptic techniques when scrubbing into a procedure to prevent infections.
Advocate for radiation safety and protection for self and coworkers, using personal radiation dosimeters and taking precautions to limit patient and staff exposure.
Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses, evaluating reports to determine if values are within established safety limits.
Education and Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited radiology program (Education verification required).
Certification/Licensure: AART registered.
Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License.
Cardiovascular Technologist registered.
BLS Certification.
ACLS Certification.
Experience
Minimum years of experience required: Less than 1 year.
