Our client is one of the nation's leading not-for-profit networks of community-based health care providers, delivering high-quality care in more than 100 Northern California communities. This position is based out of a 250-bed hospital campus that is almost brand new and has all private rooms.
Responsibilities
The Travel Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care.
Education
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
High School or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience.
Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program.
Certification & Licensure
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
CST-Certified Surgical Technologist.
Cardiac, Hepatobiliary, Spine, Robotic, Transplants, Ophthalmology, Vascular experience preferred.
Preferred Experience
Two (2) years scrubbing experience preferred.
Skills and Knowledge
Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies.
Requires communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
Requires flexibility to accommodate emergencies as well as changing schedules and priorities.
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Included.
