About the Position
nThe Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in various settings, including critical care areas. This role involves ensuring effective respiratory therapy and working collaboratively with the medical team to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Details
n Shift: 3x12 hours, Nights, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with rotation during holidays.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
Floating Requirement: Must be able to float within all areas of the facility, including labor and delivery.
n Qualifications
n Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy required.
New Graduates: First-time applicants are considered for the night position only.
Licensure: South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license required at the time of start.
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) RRT certification required.
Special Requirements: Recent critical care experience is a must. Only RRT will be considered; CRT is not accepted.

n Block Scheduling: Not available.
Local Radius: Must reside outside a 60-mile radius.
Cancellation Policy: The facility reserves the right to cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks.
Parking: Free parking is provided.
Hurricane Season: Employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during the hurricane season, from June through November.
n Work Environment
nThe position is within a facility equipped with a total of 396 staffed beds. The clinical documentation system utilized is Epic, and the staff will be required to wear scrubs in Caribbean Blue.
