Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU for a travel job in Portland, Maine.

Position Information
n Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
Shift: 7 AM - 7:30 PM and 7 PM - 7:30 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: Yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift
Scheduling Expectations: Schedules are based on the operational needs of the department, with participation in the call rotation required.
Years of Experience: 3+ years in a relevant setting
Float Requirements: Must be comfortable floating to NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and emergency department as needed.

n Required Certifications: BLS
ACLS (preferred)
NRP for NICU
RRT
n Unit Information
n Number of Beds: Varied, depending on daily assignments
Patient Ratios: Acute 1:25, Critical 1:8
Equipment: Drager V500, VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm
EMR: EPIC
n Hiring Profile
n Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience in a tertiary teaching hospital and level 1 trauma experience
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Background in NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic units
Type of Patients on Unit: Varied patient population
Personality Fit: Must be flexible, a team player, and possess excellent communication skills

n Miscellaneous Information
nReasonable scheduling preferences may be considered; however, only officially documented requested time off (RTO) is guaranteed. The facility cannot guarantee additional schedule requests, specific shifts, or time off outside of the approved contractual RTO.
