Position Overview
nWe are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in intensive care units (ICU), emergency rooms (ER), and nurseries, particularly in high-risk scenarios involving newborns and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
n Administer respiratory therapy to patients in the ICU and ER.
Provide care for pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation.
Assist in high-risk deliveries and participate in resuscitation teams in the nursery.
Float between departments including medical-surgical units.
Utilize and maintain respiratory equipment such as Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators, as well as other specialized respiratory devices.
Document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system.
n Qualifications
n Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a critical care setting.
Experience in neonatal and pediatric care, particularly in resuscitation scenarios.
Proficient with respiratory therapy equipment and EMR systems.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.
n Working Conditions
n Night shift responsibilities with guaranteed weekly hours.
Will require floating to various units within the facility.
n Dress Code
nScrubs of any color are acceptable. Please adhere to professional attire guidelines at all times.
