We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience to join our team in a travel role. This position specifically addresses coverage gaps in the NICU, requiring a professional who is prepared to work night shifts.
Position Information
n Role: RRT Respiratory Therapist
Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
Shift: 7 AM - 7:30 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Call Requirements: Yes, must be available 2 hours prior to the oncoming shift
Years of Experience: 3+ years required
Float Requirements: Some NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, and adult acute/critical care required
n Education & Certifications Required
n BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
NRP certification for NICU required
RRT credential required
n Unit Information
n Number of Beds: Varied based on daily assignments
Patient Ratios: Acute care 1:25, Critical care 1:8
Equipment: Drager V500, VN500, Hamilton T1, C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm
Electronic Medical Records: EPIC
n Hiring Profile
n Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience in tertiary teaching hospitals and level 1 trauma centers
Preferred Skillset/Experience: NICU/PICU and Cardiothoracic experience
Type of Patients on Unit: Varied patient demographics and conditions
Personality Fit: Flexible, team-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills
