Overview
nWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled NICU Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing critical care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and ensuring optimal respiratory support for our most vulnerable patients.
Key Responsibilities
n Administer respiratory therapy and manage ventilators for neonatal patients.
Conduct assessments and monitor the respiratory status of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Perform therapeutic procedures, including airway management and intubation, as needed.
Educate the families of patients regarding respiratory conditions and therapy techniques.
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in neonatal respiratory care.
n Schedule
nThis position requires a commitment of three 12-hour shifts and three call shifts within a 6-week schedule, specifically for night shifts.
Qualifications
n Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
Valid RCP or RRT license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience in neonatal care is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
