The right CNA should have 1 year of experience in a clinic or outpatient setting. Read below for more requirements.As a CNA in a clinic, you will support physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in delivering efficient and compassionate care to patients in an outpatient environment. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow and excellent care delivery.As a CNA, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Greet and prepare patients for examinations or proceduresTake and record vital signs, height, weight, and other basic health dataAssist with minor clinical procedures under supervisionProvide support with activities of daily living as neededMaintain clean and stocked exam rooms and common areasEnsure proper patient identification and documentationTransport patients within the clinic or assist with mobilityCommunicate effectively with the care team and patientsFollow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelinesSupport administrative tasks such as scheduling or chart preparation as directedThe ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as a Certified Nurse Aid in a clinic setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification, hold the NNAAP National Certification and be eligible for State licensure.Clinic CNAs should be organized, people-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced outpatient setting with professionalism and attention to detail.Requirements*: BLS, 1 Year * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
