Description
We're looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for an immediate travel opening in Portage, WI. The right CNA should have 1 year of experience in a clinic or outpatient setting. Read below for more requirements.
As a CNA in a clinic, you will support physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in delivering efficient and compassionate care to patients in an outpatient environment. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow and excellent care delivery.
As a CNA, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
Greet and prepare patients for examinations or procedures
Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and other basic health data
Assist with minor clinical procedures under supervision
Provide support with activities of daily living as needed
Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and common areas
Ensure proper patient identification and documentation
Transport patients within the clinic or assist with mobility
Communicate effectively with the care team and patients
Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling or chart preparation as directed
The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as a Certified Nurse Aid in a clinic setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification, hold the NNAAP National Certification and be eligible for State licensure.
Clinic CNAs should be organized, people-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced outpatient setting with professionalism and attention to detail.
Requirements*: BLS, 1 Year * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
