Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring CT/PET experience and ARRT (CT) certification (license required if applicable).
Details
CT department in a 410-bed community hospital
3x12-hour day shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
Every 3rd weekend required
No call requirements
Performs a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed CT techniques for diagnosis
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year CT/PET experience required
ARRT (CT) certification and NYS license required if applicable
BLS (AHA) certification required
Epic EMR experience required
Contrast injection experience required
GE scanner experience preferred
Ability to obtain intravenous access
Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Basic computer skills
Additional Information
Candidate must have their own vehicle
Previous or current travel experience strongly encouraged
No block scheduling considered for this assignment
No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and must be requested at time of uploadFacility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
Dress code allows personal scrubs of any color with no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
8 hours of non-billable orientation required
Candidates within 50 miles of the facility or from specific NY counties may be eligible for a discounted travel rate
COVID vaccination strongly encouraged but not required
