Travel COTA - Acute Care Hospital
American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an Acute Care Hospital assignment requiring at least 1 year of acute care experience and BLS certification.
Acute care hospital setting covering medical, surgical, orthopedics, neurological, neurosurgery, cardiac, and critical care patients.
Also supports an Acute Rehab Facility with an average length of stay of 2 weeks and a high percentage of stroke patients.
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
Requires working every 4th weekend.
Epic charting system preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required.
BLS certification required.
Active Minnesota COTA license required (if applicable).
Experience with prosthetics/orthotics, functional splints, and rehabilitation for conditions such as CVA, TBI, amputee, and orthopedic injuries preferred.
Must be able to perform patient lifting and transfers.
