Job description
Travel COTA - Rehab
American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an Inpatient Rehab position requiring BLS certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Patient population includes adults with CVA, TBI, amputation, orthopedic conditions, and other neurological disorders
Utilizes Epic EMR system (preferred experience)
LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
State license required if applicable
Minimum of 1 year of experience required
Epic EMR experience preferred
Experience with rehabilitation modalities including lymphedema management and static splints preferred
Provide occupational therapy services including assessment, plan of care, and discharge planning
Duties include activities of daily living training, adaptive equipment use, and community re-entry planning
Experience with amputee, CVA, TBI, and orthopedic rehabilitation preferred
First-time travelers will be considered
RTO limited to 2 requests per contract
Scrub colors permitted: black, grey, plum, light blue, teal, wine, navy, and royal
Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
