Travel COTA - Skilled Nursing FacilityAmerican Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a Long Term Care position in Marlborough, MA, requiring at least 1 year of LTC or rehab experience.Details:Long term care (LTC) facility occupational therapy department13-week assignmentDay shift, 8-hour shifts35 guaranteed work week hoursNo weekend requirementsNo on-call requirementsRequirements:Active OTA license required if applicableMinimum 1 year of OTA experience requiredLTC or rehabilitative care setting experience requiredNew graduates considered if they completed Level II fieldwork experience1 professional reference required for considerationAdditional Information:Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under supervision of an Occupational TherapistAdminister ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devicesAssess patient progress and communicate with supervising OT to adjust treatment plansDocument all treatment information in the electronic documentation system per regulatory requirementsParticipate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetingsSupport and supervise OTA students under guidance of the Occupational TherapistAdhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state practice acts and code of conductMaximum of 7 days RTO may be requested during the assignment
