We’re currently looking for a Critical Care Float Registered Nurse for a Hospital contract. Job Details: Job Title: Critical Care Float Registered Nurse Location: Newport News, VA Setting: Hospital Pay Range: - Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 (Night, D/N, Rotating) Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements: 2 years experience required Responsibilities: Provide critical care nursing in ICU units including SICU, MICU, CCU, and OICU. Care for patients with traumatic injuries, surgical complications, neurological conditions, and post-cardiac procedures. Monitor critically ill patients with exacerbated medical comorbidities and oncology patients requiring intensive care. Administer treatments for patients with DKA, alcohol withdrawal, and other critical conditions. Work flexible scheduling including every other weekend and possible holiday shifts.
