Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and GE equipment experience for a night shift position in a community hospital setting.
Details
Community hospital setting serving adult and pediatric patients across acute care, outpatient, ICU, and emergency department settings
Performs CT studies including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest imaging with and without contrast
Special procedures may include aspirations, biopsies, and drainage
Uses GE CT equipment and PACS imaging system
Meditech charting system experience required
13-week assignment with possibility to extend
Night shift, 3x12 hours, Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Approximately 39-40 hours per week
Requirements
ARRT (CT) and BLS certification required
License required if applicable
Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
Community hospital experience required
GE equipment experience required
Meditech charting system experience required
Proficiency in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
Peripheral IV starting skills preferred
1 supervisory reference from within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Candidates must complete PA fingerprinting and ChildLine registration within 48 hours of signing a contract
Candidates must complete lab work within 72 hours of signing contract
Any previous permanent or per diem employment at this healthcare system must be disclosed and must have ended at least 18 months prior to applying as a traveler
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be accepted
