Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and CT registry to work night shifts in a Radiology department serving adult, geriatric, and some pediatric patients.
Details
Radiology department performing CT and potentially MRI imaging
154-bed Joint Commission accredited hospital with Chest Pain Center designation
Adult, geriatric, and some pediatric patient population
Patient ratio of 20-30 per tech across two techs
Uses GE imaging equipment and Paragon EHR
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Weekend work only required if taking PTO
On-call required a couple of nights per week, rotated among techs
Floating to MRI preferred if qualified
Requirements
ARRT (R) and CT registration required
License required if applicable
Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT
Able to perform CT procedures including biopsy, drainage, Coronary CTA, and nerve root blocks, or at minimum perform fluoro on the CT machine
MRI experience preferred
AHA certifications required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
Performs CT procedures across all diagnosis and treatment types
Black scrubs required;
t-shirts and hoodies not permitted
Bi-weekly orientation schedule with upcoming start dates
Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Must not be employed elsewhere full-time
