Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring AZ CT licensure, ARRT registration, and the ability to start IVs.
Details
Primarily works in the Emergency Department, with potential to float as needed
Performs routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
Conducts biopsy/drainage procedures and studies with or without contrast media
Works with 3 scanners: Philips 128 Ingenuity (ER/primary night scanner), Philips Brilliance 64, and Philips Big Bore 16
4x10 night shifts, Sunday-Wednesday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
13-week assignment
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
ARRT registration required
AZ state general radiographer license required
CT license required if applicable
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Must be able to start IVs
Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy required
No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
Provides timely diagnostic imaging services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
Travelers who worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
RTO requests must be less than 1 week
