Job description
Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Cumming, Georgia, starting 07/06/2026. The role involves operating CT scanners to produce high‑quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and compliance with radiation standards.
Responsibilities
Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
Provide high‑quality images to the radiologist for interpretation.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
Current ARRT certification.
Other certifications and licenses applicable to the position.
Required Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.
Physical abilities – Remain stationary, move, and manipulate equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend.
Interpersonal skills – Work effectively with a variety of personnel, maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
Technical/motor skills – Ability to perform fine manipulation and assist with procedures using department equipment.
Mental requirements – Handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with occasional supervision or independently, and manage irregular activity schedules.
Sensory requirements – Visual acuity and effective communication ability.
