Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist with Level 1 Trauma experience for a 13‑week night shift contract at a Magnet‑designated academic teaching hospital.
Details
Work in the CT Scan department of an 865‑bed Magnet, academic teaching, Level 1 Trauma hospital
Daily caseload varies by shift and location
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Holiday rotation required
On‑call rotation shared with staff
Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities
Charting via Epic
Parking passes available for nights and weekends for a one‑time fee of $20
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
Active BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) certifications required
Siemens CT equipment experience required
Epic EMR experience
SC state license must be in hand at time of start — license required if applicable
SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Must be able to provide own radiation badge — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
Additional Information
First‑time travelers will be considered provided they have relevant prior experience
Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on manager and unit needs
Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; local candidates may be accepted on a case‑by‑case basis
Pre‑start online modules are required to be completed before the assignment begins
Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
AHA certifications only accepted
Pay & Job ID
