Job Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in San Angelo, Texas.
Position: CT Technologist – Travel
Start Date: 07/20/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week (10‑hour night shifts)
Employment Type: Travel
Responsibilities
Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
Interpret doctors' written instructions
Appropriately position patients for specific scans
Operate computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues
Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues
Evaluate CT scans to determine technical quality
Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
Maintain accurate patient records
Use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT technician
BLS certification
ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
State‑specific licensing when required
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment
Pay and Benefits
Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
