Job Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for an immediate assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. The position starts on 06/29/2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 36 hours per week, and consists of 12‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
Appropriately position patients to scan specific body areas.
Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
One year of experience as a CT Technologist.
BLS certification.
ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
State‑specific licensing when required.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Qualifications
Experience: 1 year.
Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT), additional certifications as required.
Physical capability to perform required tasks.
TotalMed Allied Job ID # . Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). The role is a travel assignment and will be tax‑free.
