Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist Job Summary The CT Technologist is responsible for conducting procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data. This role requires attention to detail, patient safety, and the production of high-quality diagnostic images. Key Responsibilities Patient Identification: Verify patient identification, obtain patient history, assist patients and family members, ensure patient understanding, and maintain safety protocols. CT Scans: Acquire images according to established protocols, manipulate images as needed, and perform multi-planar and 3D reconstructions. Demonstrate proficiency in CT algorithms and select appropriate window and level settings based on anatomical requirements. Contrast Administration: Administer oral and IV contrast according to protocols, establish IV lines, and verify patient eligibility through appropriate lab values before contrast injection. Image Transfer: Maintain a thorough understanding of PACS and transmit images accurately to various systems. Ensure that all charge information and demographic data are accurate and up to date. Additional Duties: Perform tasks in a timely manner, manage workflow effectively, volunteer for challenging tasks, and maintain a clean work environment. Document incidents for improvement opportunities and assist in training new employees and students. Required Skills & Experience Education and training that provide the ability to perform assigned tasks. Education & Certification Requirements Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates must provide a copy of diploma from an accredited program. Advanced certification in CT is required. Successful candidates must become registered within one year of employment and maintain their registry status and continuing education requirements annually. Current competency in HCP BLS is mandatory for all imaging specialists. Schedule Notes Schedule is Monday through Thursday, with hours from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Siemens experience is preferred.
