Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in diagnostic and invasive CT imaging, including ED trauma and stroke cases.
Details
Radiology/CT Scan department within a large hospital setting
FRI-SUN schedule, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
26-week assignment
Equipment includes GE Optima, 3 GE EVO units, GE Revolution, and Medrad Injectors
EMR systems include Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS
Possible weekend shifts and rotation to another shift
Potential call of up to 12 hours per month
Patient population includes pediatric, cardiac, neuro, MSK, body imaging, and invasive procedures
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
ARRT (R) certification required
License required if applicable
Proficiency in all areas of CT imaging including diagnostic and invasive scans
Experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging required
GE equipment experience, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture skills preferred
Must be a self-motivated team player able to work independently
Additional Information
Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures including neuro, MSK, body, cardiac, and pediatric imaging
Black scrubs required
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
First-time travelers will be considered
