Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 26-week assignment requiring NYS licensure and ARRT (CT) certification plus contrast injection experience.
Details
Community hospital setting within the CT Scan department
3x12-hour day shifts
Every 3rd weekend required
No on-call requirements
No block scheduling considered for this assignment
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year CT/PET experience required
NYS license required if applicable, and ARRT (CT) certification required
BLS (AHA) certification required
Epic EMR experience required
Contrast injection experience required
GE scanner experience preferred
Must have own vehicle
Ability to obtain intravenous access
Additional Information
Perform a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed techniques for diagnosis
Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required
Basic computer skills required
Prioritize and organize daily workflow effectively
Personal scrubs of any color permitted, no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
8 hours of non-billable orientation required
No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and must be requested prior to upload
Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
Previous or current travel experience strongly encouraged
COVID vaccination strongly encouraged but not required
