Key Responsibilities
Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified body areas as directed by a physician
Perform all routine diagnostic imaging procedures, including Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm
Move and adjust radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment controls to set appropriate exposure factors such as time and distance
Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in the operating room, emergency room, or at the patient's bedside
Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
Demonstrate strong ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Required Qualifications
2+ years of current CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting
2+ years of current X-Ray Technologist experience in a hospital setting
High proficiency in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm — required
Experience working with all patient age groups — required
Active New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) License — required (note: NH MIRT temp license may be obtainable with an equivalent state license)
Active American Heart Association BLS Certification — required
Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification — required
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Must have personal reliable transportation
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous travel assignment experience
Familiarity with hospital-based imaging workflows and multi-modality environments
