CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Location
Little Falls, MN | Critical Access Hospital
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Onsite | Shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on need;
various start times available. Weekend coverage expected approximately every third or fourth weekend. Holiday coverage based on departmental need.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT and X-ray imaging across multiple care settings including ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR
Conduct advanced CT studies including CTAs in support of a stroke-designated facility, as well as trauma imaging for a high-volume highway-adjacent location
Support orthopedic imaging and joint procedures in coordination with an affiliated orthopedic clinic
Operate department equipment including Siemens 128-slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio X-ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC C-arm, and Hologic Mini-C
Utilize EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems for imaging documentation and archiving
Float to assist with radiology injections and biopsies as needed, with training provided
Required Qualifications
Active ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
BLS certification required
Solid, demonstrated CT experience;
CT experience must be stronger than Mammography experience
Proficiency in both CT and X-ray;
ability to operate a C-arm in surgical settings for emergent cases
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Candidates may not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity Health, within the past year
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a critical access or rural hospital environment
Familiarity with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS
Experience with trauma imaging and/or CTA protocols
Strong communication skills with a collaborative, adaptable approach to a fast-paced, high-demand department
