Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with CT and general X-ray experience to provide imaging services in a hospital radiology department.
Details
Perform CT scanning and general X-ray imaging within a hospital radiology department
Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Every 4th weekend required
On-call required one night per week and during the scheduled weekend
Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited radiography program
ARRT certified in Radiography required;
ARRT (CT) preferred
BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
State licensure required if applicable
1 year of experience in CT required
Ability to start IVs required
Ability to work independently with strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, and respond to on-call pager
Additional Information
Produce high-quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards for physician interpretation
Maintain competency across a variety of imaging equipment and technology
Follow proper safety protocols for self, staff, and patients
Foster teamwork through effective communication
Maintain flexibility to work across various locations, shift times, and lengths
On-site position with no teleworking option
COVID vaccination and booster required
