Job description
Overview
Workfit Staffing is looking for a CT Technologist. The CT Technologist should have the ability to empathize with patients, possess specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality to enhance the overall success of imaging.
Responsibilities
Patient Care — Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs
Documentation — Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures, document performance of studies in patient charts
Daily Maintenance — Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare rooms
Qualifications
Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent
NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment. R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment
NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment
Prior Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in various software applications preferred
Exceptional customer service and communication skills preferred
Pay Rate
$2,529 weekly
Shift
Day (4x10 Hours) 7:00–17:30, Day (3x12 Hours) 7:00–19:30 or Evening (3x12 Hours) 15:00–3:00
