**Exciting Opportunity for Travel CT Tech!** **Job Description** - Position: Travel CT Tech - Shift: 7A - 3:30P - Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - Location: Wichita, KS **Unit Information** - Adult 64 Bed Hospital with a 12 bed Adult ICU.
- 14 bed Emergency Department.
- Imaging department weekend staffing includes: - 1 MRI tech - 1 Xray tech - 1 US tech (Saturday only) - 1 CT tech - Weekend shifts for CT: 7A - 7P **CT Tech Responsibilities** - Work primarily with adult ED patients, with occasional pediatric scans.
- Serve adult inpatients as ordered.
- Operate Siemens Somatom Plus 128 slice CT scanner.
- EMR: Meditech - PACS: FUJI Synapse **Requirements** - Must have: - 6 months CT Tech experience - CT registered with ARRT - KSBHA license - Preferred: - Siemens scanner experience - 2-3+ years of experience in CT - Ability to back up Xray if tech is in the OR - Strong problem-solving skills **Typical Procedures** - CT Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis.
- CTA chest, neck, abdomen.
- Occasional CTA Cardiac studies.
- Some CT Lumbar / Thoracic spine.
- CT Head Stroke protocol. **Best Personality Fit** - Thrives in a busy or slow-paced environment based on ED patient load.
- Works well with other departments.
- Dependable and prompt. **Additional Information** - Family-friendly atmosphere with easy access.
- Easy to navigate the department.
- Great guidelines and resources for a smooth orientation.
