Job description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and perform general radiography and fluoroscopy imaging for patients across the age spectrum.
Requirements
ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
Advanced certification in CT modality required in OR and HI
BLS certification required
License required if applicable, including state RT license where applicable
Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment, per state requirements
Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials, per state requirements
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
Minimum two years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within the last three months
Responsibilities
Performs CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
Cares for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations
Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
Day shift options include 7am-5:30pm, 8am-6:30pm, or 9am-7:30pm
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care throughout the imaging process
Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
Ensures integrity of patient images and data in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
Performs routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manages supply inventory
Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
Local candidates accepted at travel rate with no radius restriction
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
Candidates with a prior licensure issue will not be considered
