Job description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II trauma acute care facility, requiring 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT certification.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT experience required
BLS, ARRT, and California state Fluoroscopy certification required
Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required
Must be a self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced radiology environment
License required if applicable
Responsibilities
Acute care setting within the Diagnostic Radiology department at a Level II trauma facility
Serves both inpatient and outpatient patients across OR and ER settings
Uses Cerner EMR and Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT scanners
10-hour day shifts including every Friday-Sunday
Radiologist in house until 6 PM, then available on-call
1-2 shifts of floor-specific orientation provided
Fast-paced environment with reduced staffing resources on night shifts
Perform CT imaging procedures across OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
Reports to unit manager and team lead
Teal scrub color required, except in OR where scrubs are provided
Candidates will be expected to work holidays as needed
Call requirements vary and will be discussed during the interview process
First-time travelers will be considered for this role
