Job description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARRT CT/R certification to work in a busy Level II Trauma Center.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience required
ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
License required if applicable
GE Revolution Scanner experience highly preferred
Experience with IV Tera Recon, AW, Vision, and i-STAT systems preferred
Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
Experience with abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/MSK, and vascular CT studies
Proficient in starting peripheral IVs and preparing/administering contrast media
Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety protocols
Responsibilities
Level II Trauma Center serving adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ED, and ICU populations
Patient ratio of 1:3
3x12 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Thursday, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Call required approximately 2 shifts per month
Uses GE Revolution Scanner, PACS, IV Tera Recon, AW, Vision, and i-STAT systems
Perform a wide range of CT procedures including coronary CTA, brain perfusion, myelography, vascular CTA, and radiation therapy planning
Work within a Level II Trauma Center known for high patient volume
No first-time travelers will be considered for this role
Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
Traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
