Job description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a CT Scan unit requiring ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
Requirements
ARRT certification as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R), with CT specialization required
Current BLS certification required
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
Fluoroscopy license required if applicable
Venipuncture certification preferred
Must be able to care for patients across the lifespan from adolescents to geriatric populations
Responsibilities
Work within the CT Scan department of a hospital setting
Perform CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
Care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age groups
Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to appropriate locations
Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
Specific workdays to be discussed with the hiring manager
Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information related to imaging procedures
Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment and manage supply inventory
Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel pay
