Job Summary:
The operating room open heart specialty position is located in a healthcare facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves supporting cardiac surgical procedures within a high-acuity environment, ensuring the delivery of safe and efficient patient care. Job Details:
Position: Operating Room Open Heart Nurse or Technologist
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Start Date: 08/31/2026
Required Qualifications: BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; applicable licensure to practice within the state of Arizona
Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification is preferred but not required
Float: No float rotation required
Additional Information: The role involves supporting open heart and vascular cases, including transplants and other high-acuity procedures. Candidates should be proficient in sterile techniques, patient monitoring, and intraoperative support specific to cardiac surgery. Flexibility to work scheduled shifts and contribute to call coverage as needed is required. All candidates must demonstrate competence in critical care skills pertinent to cardiac surgical patients.
