Overview
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Amarillo, Texas.
Responsibilities
As an operating room open heart nurse (RN OR-OH), you will manage the care of patients before, during, and after open-heart surgery. Working primarily within the operating suite, you will be responsible for preparing the patient, handling and preparing operating instruments and equipment, monitoring patient status, and assisting with open-heart surgeries. You will also provide pre- and post-op education and moral support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
Active RN license
